Crostini with pumpkin and white truffle sauce

The crostini with pumpkin and white truffle sauce offer a delicious combination of creamy sweetness and intense aroma for a unique gourmet experience.

Ingredients:

-Bread (preferably baguette or rustic bread)
Pumpkin and white truffle sauce by Bernardini Tartufi
-Cream cheese (like spreadable cheese or robiola)
-Black olives (optional, for garnish)
-Extra virgin olive oil
-Salt and pepper to taste
-Freshly chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut the bread into slices about 1 cm thick.
  3. Place the bread slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush lightly with extra virgin olive oil.
  4. Bake the bread slices for about 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden and crispy.
  5. Once baked, s spread Bernardini Tartufi’s pumpkin and white truffle sauce generouslyon each slice of bread.
  6. Add a thin layer of cream cheese on each slice, seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
  7. If desired,add a few slices of black olives on each crouton for an extra touch of flavour.
  8. Bake the croutons for another 2-3 minutes,, or until the cheese starts to melt slightly.
  9. Once ready, remove the croutons from the oven and garnish with some freshly chopped parsley if desired.
  10. Serve the croutons hot and enjoy this delicious and simple delicacy!
